You must catch the stars in order and per color to make points and refill the timer.Exemple : 1 blue -> 2 blue etc... if you catch one other alone star the chain restart.
The game speeds up incrementally every 20 seconds.
1 star 10 points
2 chain stars 50 points
3 chain stars 100 points

Cool little minigame, I got to 790. I understand this is a prototype, and I’m sure you might’ve had a lot more improvement about the procedural generation in mind if there wasn’t a time constraint.
I also updated a game of mine after the jam ended, so I encourage you to do as well if you think it makes sense to polish it :)
